Before Mann Egerton emerged in the automobile industry, it was Laurence Scott & Company that possessed the reputation of high quality and reliable electrical installations. Scott happily sold the business to Gerald Mann who retained many of the original company’s employees, and Mann Egerton was born, focusing on manufacturing electric motors. The Limited Edition Mann Egerton Hand Assembled Scott Dynamic in Black men’s watch pays tribute to Scott’s part Mann Egerton’s history.

The chronograph movement and tachymeter chapter ring help to measure speed based on time and distance travelled. The piece’s sable-black dial is decorated with Minutes, Hours and Seconds counters, while luminous hands and luminous indices reference the bright future that Scott’s sale allowed Gerald Mann to foresee.

The Mann Egerton logo-engraved stainless steel caseback is on the reverse of the oil-black IP case and matching silicone strap references the industrial determination that helped Mann Egerton emerge as a major automobile player during the 20th Century.
