How do you recharge the battery? Is there is plug that goes straight to the flashlight or do I remove the battery and charge it? Is the battery charger included?

DM70 battery comes with a micro USB charging port, so you need to take the battery out to charge it and then put it back it, which means you can use the spare battery to power the flashlight while the other one is charging. It comes with a MICRO USB charging cable.
