This Silver medal featuring an astronaut on the moon is struck in 3 inches and has a matte finish.

On the obverse is a standing figure of an astronaut and a US flag planted on the surface of the moon. It has “LIBERTY” around the top and “1988” on the bottom.

The back features a majestic eagle on the top of stylized "A" surrounded by “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and “YOUNG ASTRONAUTS”.

The coin will is encapsulated in the original plastic holder. It has the original felt lined inner box and the colorized outer box. It also has the original Certificate of Authenticity (COA). Plus it has the Certificate of Edition Limit with the serial number of “00313”.
