The Aberlour Distillery (est. 1879) lies in the village of Aberlour in the heart of Speyside—Scotland’s premier whisky-making region renowned for producing whiskies of subtle depth and elegance. Aberlour is a historical place with a story that stretches back over a thousand years. The name is a Gaelic word meaning ‘mouth of the chattering burn’ (stream). In the ancient past, a druid community lived in the valley. The druids valued oak trees and water, and believed you could hear the water spirits talking to each other. Today, water and an oak tree still feature on the Aberlour label.

The Aberlour 12 Year Single Malt has been matured in two cask types.—traditional oak and sherry oak casks. Specially selected every year, these casks are filled with whisky and quietly aged for a minimum of twelve years; then the casks are married together. Traditional oak casks encourage the subtle character of Aberlour to develop, whilst Sherry oak casks add hints of ruby gold color and a deep and rich flavor to the whisky. The result is a perfectly balanced single malt with notes of fruits and spices.

The Aberlour 16 Year Single Malt is double cask matured in a combination of American Oak casks and the finest Sherry casks. It features rich, dry-scented floral and sweet raisin aromas with spicy nuttiness. The taste is smooth and full, with sweet floral and spicy flavors, a soft plum fruitiness, and gentle oak.

This set includes luxurious and versatile, lead-free crystal glass rocks glasses suitable for Irish whisky and short cocktails, as well as water, juice, and soft drinks. Each glass features a weighted design for stability, making them perfect for everyday use and special occasions alike. Sized to hold 11 oz of scotch, brandy, vodka, or rum, they're the perfect size to relax with your favorite libation without the need for repeated refills.
