The Maule Valley Wine Region is easily one of Chile’s largest wine producing areas and possesses some of the country’s oldest vines. While the region’s past reputation was defined by its production of table wine, this zone of The Central Valley is currently undergoing a winemaking renaissance. As a means to increase quality, winemakers are becoming more heedful of improved vinification and viticultural techniques, creating wines from lower yields, healthier soils and superlative grapes. The bulk of the grapes grown in the region are red—predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Carmenère—creating full-bodied wines with concentrated dark berry flavors and an herbal tinge. And while Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc are also produced in Maule Valley, it is the reds that are held in the highest regard.

Tasting Notes: A spectacular blend with an intense chocolate and caramel taste. Aged in French oak. Juicy in the mouth with well- balanced sweet tannins; it has a long aftertaste. Enjoy it with red meat, ripe cheese, or spicy dishes.
2015 Wandering Wines Grand Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

— Alcohol: 13.5%
Tasting Notes: An extremely well-balanced wine full of concentrated fruit. Broad mouthfeel, firm acidity, and sweet minerality. Rich and complex with finely-balanced oak and tropical fruits.
2018 Wandering Wines Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
— Appellation: Maule Valley, Chile
— Barrel Regime: 12 months New French Oak
— Alcohol: 13.5%
Tasting Notes: An intense violet-red color with aromas of plum, tobacco, and chocolate. It’s soft on the palate with a silky structure. The complexity is accompanied by soft, round tannins. This wine is full-bodied and shows great character of the varietal, with a long-lasting finish.
2018 Wandering Wines Reserve Carménère
— Appellation: Maule Valley, Chile
— Barrel Regime: 12 months New French Oak
— Alcohol: 13.5%
Tasting Notes: Deep violet in color with hues of blue, this wine opens with waves of blackberries followed by classic chocolate and coffee flavors. Smooth, fruit forward, and medium-bodied. It pairs beautifully with pasta, and also stands up well on its own.
2015 Wandering Wines Reserve Sauvignon Blanc
— Appellation: Maule Valley, Chile
— Barrel Regime: Stainless Steel: Up to 9 months
— Alcohol Percentage: 13.5%
Tasting Notes: Grassy yellow in color, imparts tropical aromas on the nose, including pineapple, citrus fruit, and banana. On the palate, it’s full and fresh with mineral notes and pleasantly balanced acidity.
2017 Keen Rosé

Tasting Notes: Gorgeous light pink color. Youthful and fruity, this Rosé shows nectarine, melon, and watermelon aromas on the nose. Delightfully juicy with a smooth mouthfeel. Subtle and crisp.
